Carrin Welch has loved making art since high school, where she attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She has studied at The University of Texas at Austin, Austin Community College, and School for the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, as well as various workshops. Initially focusing on Printmaking, throughout the years she has also become skilled in costume design, fashion design, painting, graphic design, and wood sculpture.

Carrin grew up in Dallas, has lived in New York City, Boston, and New Orleans. She has travelled all over the US and a bit of Europe. All of those places offered inspiration, but Austin is home, where she lives with her husband, Brian, and their doglet, Madeline. She is an artist, crafter, creator, performer, seamstress, art coordinator, traveller, sometimes troublemaker, and has worked in the tv & film industry for 7+ years.
